Wild Threads Literary Competition

The Wild Threads Literary Competition in Charlottetown is a four-working day once-a-year festival presented by P.E.I. Writers’ Guild.

Sunflower event in Montague

This one’s for images aficionados! The monks at the Great Enlightenment Buddhist Institute Modern society are opening up their sunflower fields at 2795 Heatherdale Rd. in Montague to the public again this Saturday and Sunday.

Local distributors will be providing their wares by the field, and a fundraiser will be held for the society’s Conclusion Starvation in P.E.I. campaign.

P.E.I.’s largest truck convoy

The fifth once-a-year version of this fundraising party will see truck drivers and the legislation enforcement local community increase money for Exclusive Olympics P.E.I.

The celebration will start off on Sunday at 8:30 a.m., with the 1st truck in the convoy scheduled to depart the Section of Fisheries and Oceans’ parking whole lot in Charlottetown at 10 a.m.
