If you ask a group of people what their dream car is, you are likely to hear a very wide range of responses. There will be sports cars mentioned, along with saloons, 4X4 vehicles and classic roadsters. One type of car that is unlikely to be mentioned in this conversation would be the family hatchback. In terms of practicality, the average adult has to think about rear seats for children, luggage space, manoeuvrability and miles per gallon ratios. It would be fair to say that supercars and sports cars fail on all these counts. Cost wise, the fuel hungry engines, high insurance rates and astronomical initial outlay costs make also make them seem like a terribly imprudent purchase.

However, after doing some research I discovered that the Maserati Quattroporte combines all the performance you would expect from an Italian supercar, with 4 doors and plenty of room for the whole family. If you take a look at the Used Maserati market, you are also likely to find a significantly cheaper model, making it the best of both worlds.
